How to retrieve OScommerce admin password?
OScommerce admin passwords are one way encrypted and can not be retrieved in any way using a form decrypter or any other tool
how every during working for one of my client we lost our admin password and it was hard to find a solution and the project delivery deadline was coming up very soon within next few hours. Any way here is the trick to retrieve OScommerce admin password.
1: setup a sub domain anywhere where you can install a PHP script or directory
2: install a fresh copy of OScommerce
you will get password of the latest installed oscommerce into your inbox (email address you used to install a fresh copy of oscommerce in temp directory).
3: go to SQL management (PHPmyAdmin) of fresh installed copy of oscommerce
4: find table administrators copy encrypted text and save it anywhere else on your hard drive.
5: go to SQL database of website you lost admin password through PHPmyAdmin.
6: Edit administrators table replace copied encrypted text from temp install with old one (i recommend insert new data into administrators table if you are sure that your site is not hacked and you forgot your password).
